Ahead of The Late Late Toy Show on Friday night, spin-off series The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped will be back on RTÉ One on Wednesday at 7pm to relive some unforgettable moments.

Unwrapped will also air on RTÉ One on Thursday and Friday at 7pm as part of the build-up to the most wonderful TV night of the year.

Episode one on Wednesday catches up with Stella McGirl from Co Leitrim. Stella wrote herself into Toy Show history last year with her reaction to being told she was going to appear on the show with host Ryan Tubridy.

"Ryan was really welcoming and he put me at ease because I didn't know what to make of it," says the straight-talking youngster, who was back on the Late Late for another appearance in March.

Also on Wednesday, the show visits the home of Ava O'Donovan in Co Kildare. She melted the nation's hearts when she danced the Cha-Cha during Symphony on the Toy Show in 2017. Ava was born with a unique disability similar to spina bifida and has refused to let multiple operations get in the way of her love of dancing.

We'll also hear from weather enthusiast Johnny O'Loughlin, who has been nicknamed 'Toy Show Boy' since he appeared on the show in 2015 to meet meteorologist Evelyn Cusack.

Plus, there's a look at this year's Toy Show auditions in Cork.
