Daniel Craig has said Emilia Clarke "can have" the role of Bond after he completes his stint as 007.
The 51-year-old star, who is expected to play James Bond for the last time in the upcoming No Time To Die, addressed Clarke's recent comments that she would love to take on the role of the spy in the future.
"She can have it," Craig told Extra.
Game of Thrones star Clarke was asked about taking on the Bond mantle in a recent interview and said, "Yeah! Of course! Hell to the yeah! James Bond is one of those franchises where it's never not cool.
"You could literally make the naffest James Bond in the world and it would still be cool."
No Time To Die hits cinemas in April 2020.
Clarke can currently be seen in Last Christmas.
