The final trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker was unveiled during Monday Night Football on US television ahead of the film's release in December.
Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson reprises his role as General Hux alongside Daisy Ridley (Rey), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), John Boyega (Finn), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Lupita Nyong'o (Maz Kanata), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca) and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO).
The late Carrie Fisher appears posthumously as Leia Organa, while Billy Dee Williams and Ian McDiarmid return to the franchise as Lando Calrissian and Palpatine respectively.
Newcomers to the franchise include Richard E Grant as Allegiant General Pryde and Keri Russell as Zorii Bliss with The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams back behind the lens once again.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker opens in cinemas on December 19.
