Jason Donovan has led tributes to Neighbours creator Reg Watson, who has died at the age of 93 following a short illness.
Actor and singer Donovan said: "Many Australian Entertainment careers have a lot to thank for this man. A legend."

In a statement, Neighbour's Executive Producer Jason Herbison added: "Everyone at Neighbours is sad to hear of the passing of our creator, Reg Watson. He was a pioneer of drama, prolific in his output and by all accounts a lovely person to work with. His legacy lives on in Ramsay Street to this day."
Neighbours is Australia's longest-running drama and will be celebrating 35 years on-air in 2020.
Many of Australia's most famous stars got their big break on the soap, including Kylie Minogue, Margot Robbie, Holly Vallance, Jason Donovan, Russell Crowe, Liam Hemsworth and Natalie Imbruglia.
