Elton John has added extra dates to his epic Farewell Yellow Brick Road World tour in 2020, including an additional show at Dublin's 3Arena.

The music legend will now perform an extra date at the Dublin venue on Saturday December 5, 2020 - his fourth gig of the tour.

He had been previously confirmed to play Belfast's SSE Arena on November 30 and the 3Arena on December 4.

Tickets for the new 3Arena date go on sale on Thursday, October 10, at 9am.

John has also announced further European and UK dates including new shows in Cologne (September 5), Hamburg (September 12, 13) and Berlin (October 17, 18).

He will also return to Scandinavia to perform in Stockholm (September 18), Helsinki (September 22, 23) and Oslo (September 26,27).

The Tiny Dancer hitmaker will return to Antwep on September 8, Spain to play two nights in Barcelona (October 2, 3) and a further two nights in London at The O2 (November 2 and December 17).

He has already played 124 shows on this tour having kicked off in the US in September last year.

The three year tour will consist of more than 350 shows across five continents before finishing up in 2021.
