Still grappling with Brexit? Derry Girl Nicola Coughlan has broken it down beautifully, using Love Island as a metaphor. You'll be up to speed in no time...
If we couldn't love her more already, Nicola Coughlan now owns the Internet with her latest rounds of tweets.
The quick-witted actress has likened Great Britain's exit from the European Union to Love Island's Michael returning from Casa Amour - with Joanna on his arm - in anticipation of a re-coupling.
Ok hang on I've just realised this headline is like Britain is Michael in the villa waiting for the post Casa Amour recoupling and Joanna is Brexit and then Amber is Ireland and she comes back in like WTF and then Michael gets mad and blames his bad decision on Amber pic.twitter.com/J49zhCoUas

Coughlan reckons Joanna represents Brexit and Amber is Ireland. She tweeted: "Joanna is Brexit and then Amber is Ireland and she comes back in like WTF and then Michael gets mad and blames his bad decision on Amber.

Further analysis from Coughlan explains how Greg, who she says represents the EU, then swooped in and saved the day for Amber.
"Also Michael (🇬🇧) pretending he is happy with Joanna (Brexit) and then when Joanna was messy and not working out Michael crawls back to Amber (🇮🇪) and she's like no babe I've got 🇪🇺 now (Greg) and wins Love Island (life)"
Back of the net Nicola.

This is the greatest analogy of my life can I have an award
When she is not busy breaking down the intricacies of Brexit, Coughlan is working on the upcoming Netflix period drama series Bridgerton.
Based on Julia Quinn's best-selling series of novels, Bridgerton is "set in the sexy, lavish and competitive world of Regency London high society"
Coughlan will play a character called Penelope Featherington in the show, which will premiere in 2020.
