Late Late Toy Show star Michael O'Brien is back on our TV screens this weekend when he takes up Davy Fitzgerald's challenge to give a pre-match talk to the Wexford GAA team and reveals he taught the straight-talking manager to "dream big a little more."
11-year-old Michael appeared on the Toy Show to review braille books and was shocked when Davy came out to meet him. But the surprises didn't end there. Davy then as Michael to help him with his pre-match motivational talk to the Wexford football team ahead of their match against Tipperary in February this year.
A new documentary, When Michael Met Davy, follows Michael at home and in school as he prepares for match day, where he is seen delivering the speech to Davy's Wexford team.
The highlight of the whole experience, Michael told RTÉ Entertainment, was "meeting Davy" who he has kept in touch with since the game.
Michael said he and Davy are both "very passionate" and that he thinks Davy "learned to dream big, even though he always dreamed big, but to dream big a little more, and you'll get it" from him.
"It's very important to be a dreamer, I think if you're a dreamer you're going to be a winner," Michael added.
Preparing for the speech itself involved weeks of preparation and re-writes for Michael, although he didn't put any pressure on himself in the process.
"It was quite difficult I must say, but when all the pieces fit into the jigsaw, it's pretty easy," he said.
"I spent maybe three or four weeks on it," Michael added, revealing that "I wasn't nervous at all."
When Michael Met Davy airs on RTÉ One at 6.30pm on Monday, August 5.
