Beyoncé has referred to weighing scales as "every woman's nightmare" as she embarked on a strict pre-Coachella diet to get back in shape after welcoming her twins Rumi and Sir.
On Thursday, the popstar unveiled a video on YouTube detailing her health and fitness journey. It was made in partnership with Marco Borges, the founder of 22 Days Nutrition, a plant-based diet.
At the beginning of the video, she says: "It's 5am and this is Day 1 of rehearsals for Coachella."
"Every woman's nightmare," she continues as she steps on the scales and reads her weight.
"Long way to go," she says.

The video shows snippets of Beyoncé's gruelling fitness regime and plant-based meals which helped her achieve her goal.
It also shows Borges coaching the performer and some of her Coachella team.
Some fans have criticised the video's message on Twitter.
TV host Joelle Tomlinson tweeted: "Y'all know I love Beyonce. Perhaps a little too much.
"But, I'm disappointed to hear her calling her weight post-twins every 'woman's nightmare', and promoting a VERY restrictive diet. Perhaps use your star power to promote body positivity and beauty at any body size. #IMHO."

Another commentator wrote: "I hate how Beyoncé markets Veganism/ plant based eating as a 'get thin quick' diet. It's so misleading & dangerous."

One fan tweeted: "My thing with all these celebs doing crazy diets that lose them weight like Beyoncé's before coachella is DO YOU KNOW HOW EASY IT IS TO STICK WITH THESE DIETS WHEN YOU HAVE PROFESSIONAL CHEFS MAKING THESE DISHES???"

Beyoncé previously opened up about body image in a rare intimate interview, telling of the pressure she felt to lose the baby weight after the birth of her first child.
She revealed the "crazy" lengths she went to in order to lose weight after the birth of her and husband Jay-Z's first child Blue Ivy in 2012.
The artist said she "approached things very differently" following the birth of her twins last year and revealed that they were delivered by emergency C-section.
She said of her newfound body acceptance: "During my recovery, I gave myself self-love and self-care, and I embraced being curvier. I accepted what my body wanted to be.
"After six months, I started preparing for Coachella [music festival]. I became vegan temporarily, gave up coffee, alcohol, and all fruit drinks. But I was patient with myself and enjoyed my fuller curves. My kids and husband did, too."
Beyoncé made history at Coachella in April as the first black woman to headline the music and arts festival.
