Anne Hathaway has announced she is expecting her second child with her husband Adam Shulman, and has revealed that "it was not a straight line" to either of her pregnancies.
The Hollywood star took to Instagram to reveal the news, posting a black and white picture that showed her blossoming baby bump.
She wrote: "It's not for a movie...#2
"All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies.
"Sending you extra love."
The Oscar-winning actress and her producer husband wed in September 2012 and welcomed their first child, son Jonathan Rosebanks, in March 2016.

In May, 36-year-old Hathaway, known for appearing in films including The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight Rises and Les Misérables, was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She recently starred alongside Rebel Wilson in The Hustle, the female-centred remake of the classic film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
