Love Island's Irish scientist Yewande Biala has admitted that Danny Williams "kind of broke my heart" when he chose newcomer Arabella Chi over her on the dating series.
She spoke to Digital Spy and other media following her dumping on Monday night's episode and said of her experience of appearing on the show: "I was fortunate enough to find someone and connect with someone, it was just unfortunate that he kind of broke my heart. And that's why I was dumped."

Yewande and Danny developed their relationship very slowly, and she took time before revealing her feelings to him after he had complained she wasn't being affectionate enough.
Yewande then warned him not to have his head turned by newcomer Arabella.
She continued: "Yeah [Danny broke my heart] a little bit.
"Obviously it was hard for me to open up and eventually I did open up and I fully trusted him.
"Even when Arabella came in he said he wasn't going to have his head turned, or he wasn't even going speak to her or look at her..."

"It did really hurt, and it did break me just a little bit," she added.
Yewande, however, said she has no regrets about appearing on the series.
"I think it was the right decision for me to go on Love Island," she explained. "What better way to break down your walls than to go on a love show that forces you to open up a little bit more.
"And that's what I did, [but] it did take me a while..."
Love Island continues on Virgin Media Two and ITV2.
