Hugh Jackman was in the best of form at the first of his Dublin concerts at the 3Arena on Thursday night, bringing audience member Tom Jones (not that one) up onstage to share the spotlight - and show off his dancing skills.

Jackman posted a video on social media of the new double act, captioning it: "Please meet MR. TOM JONES. (Yes!!! Really)."

"Are you a fan of the other Tom Jones, the singer Tom Jones?" Jackman asked.

"His real name is Tom Woodward," replied the Irish Tom Jones.

"Yeah, we don't need to know that," said Jackman as the audience roared laughing.

The Greatest Showman star then paid tribute to his new pal's moves, and encouraged him to dance some more.

He didn't have to ask twice!

Jackman plays matinee and evening shows at the 3Arena on Friday.

On Wednesday night, he dropped into a pub to sample what he called his first pint of Guinness on Irish soil.

"My whole life, I've drunk Guinness, but they always say it's different in Ireland," he said before supping on the pint before it could settle into full readiness.
