Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington has checked into a "wellness retreat" to work on "personal issues."
The 32-year-old actor, who played Jon Snow on the hugely successful HBO drama, has reportedly been at a facility in the US state of Connecticut.
"Kit has decided to utilise this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues," his representative said in a statement.
Game of Thrones concluded after eight seasons last week, with a documentary about the show, The Last Watch, airing on Monday.
During the documentary fans saw Harington's reaction to his character's final scene, with the London-born star breaking down in tears.
Harington, who is married to his Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie, previously opened up about his struggles to deal with fame – especially around the time of that cliffhanger in season five – and his decision to seek therapy.
The actor said the cliffhanger surrounding his character's fate brought intense pressure to him as a person and an actor.
"When you become the cliffhanger of a TV show, and a TV show probably at the height of its power, the focus on you is f***ing terrifying," he told Variety.
"It wasn't a very good time in my life. I felt I had to feel that I was the most fortunate person in the world, when actually, I felt very vulnerable. I had a shaky time in my life around there, like I think a lot of people do in their 20s.
"That was a time when I started therapy, and started talking to people. I had felt very unsafe, and I wasn't talking to anyone. I had to feel very grateful for what I have, but I felt incredibly concerned about whether I could even f***ing act..."
