Dublin has been selected as a potential host for the Wizarding World wands exhibition tour, and wand designer Pierre Bohanna has teased something special for Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans.
The 15-foot replicas of the wands used in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald were first displayed in London last year to coincide with the film's release date, and they will now go on a tour of the UK and Ireland, with a public vote deciding which cities they will visit.
Dublin has been shortlisted, and we spoke to the man behind the wands, Pierre Bohanna, about the exhibition.
"It's very surreal," he said of seeing larger than life versions of his work on show. "To be outside St Paul's in London and coming around the corner and seeing these incredible 15-foot high replicas of the original wands was very imposing and quite surreal."
If Dublin is selected as a host city, Bohanna promised that the reveal would be something special for fans.
"It's like an art installation," he said. "You'll see all of these wonderful character wands rendered so well, in a place that is so familiar to you."
Describing the wands as "amazing, beautiful things" Bohanna added that he is "exceptionally proud of what we've been able to do."
