A new biopic about Celine Dion has been announced titled The Power of Love after one of the singer's most famous tracks.
Variety broke the news about the biopic which is set to trace the Canadian singer's life from childhood to her rise to international stardom.
The Power of Love is set to be released in 2020 and has been authorized by Dion, who granted rights to her music being used in the film.
It will feature some of her biggest hits including All by Myself, My Heart Will Go On and I’m Alive.
The French-language film will be directed by Valerie Lemercier who will also star as Dion.
The film will trace Dion's life from her beginnings in Quebec in the 1960s through to her rise to fame. It will also explore her relationships with her manager and husband, René Angélil, who died in 2016, and her family.
The biopic arrives in the wake of hugely successful Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which stars actor Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury.
Rocketman, a biopic based on the life of Elton John, is set to be released in June.
