Singer Gavin James has issued a warning to fans that they were to be wary of a fake Twitter account purporting to be him.
A very convincing looking Twitter account using his image was set up and looking for money. He advised fans to look for the blue tick and follow him @gavinjames.

The Dublin ballad singer last night started on tour in Oporto in Portugal and took a selfie with an enthusiastic crowd on the first night of his tour with his new album Only Ticket Home.

The hard working singer opened 2019 by performing at the New Years celebrations in Dublin.
The loved up 27-year-old said that his latest album Only Ticket Home is more upbeat than his normal and he explained maybe it was because of his happy love life. Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment he explained "he had been with the same girl for three years now. Lovely girl from Greece.
James released his second album Only Ticket Home and in the three years since the release of his debut album Bitter Pill, he has been touring almost non-stop across the world as well as supporting Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith along the way.
Gavin James plays The Olympia Theatre, Dublin from April 17th to 19th 2019.
