Tom Cruise has confirmed that two more Mission: Impossible movies are in the works.
Following on from the hugely successful Mission: Impossible - Fallout in 2018, Paramount Pictures has green-lit two additions to the franchise.
Cruise took to Twitter to announced the news by posting a short video of the Mission: Impossible logo on fire and writing simply: "Summer 2021 and Summer 2022."

The 56-year-old Hollywood star will reprise his role as spy Ethan Hunt in the new instalments of the action movie franchise.
Director Christopher McQuarrie is returning to write and direct both films after doing the same on Fallout and Rogue Nation in 2015.
McQuarrie tweeted of the news: "Missions: Accepted."

The next two films, the seventh and eighth in the franchise, are expected to shoot back-to-back.
