Killing Eve's Sandra Oh and Bodyguard's Richard Madden were among the winners from the world of television at Sunday night's Golden Globe awards in Beverly Hills.
Following its final season, The Americans was named Best Drama, with The Kominsky Method winning Best Series - Musical or Comedy and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story winning Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Sandra Oh, who also co-hosted the awards ceremony with Andy Samberg, was honoured with the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series - Drama for her performance in Killing Eve. She had been nominated alongside Irish actress Caitriona Balfe, whose work on Outlander has seen her shortlisted four times in this category.
Richard Madden's turn as David Budd on Bodyguard saw him take home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series - Drama.

The Kominsky Method's Michael Douglas won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series - Musical or Comedy), with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Rachel Brosnahan taking home the trophy for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV series - Musical or Comedy.

Other television acting honours went to The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story's Darren Criss (Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television) and Escape at Dannemora's Patricia Arquette (Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television).

A Very English Scandal's Ben Wishaw (Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television) and Sharp Objects' Patricia Clarkson (Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television) were also winners on the night.
The Golden Globes ceremony and red carpet arrivals are on RTÉ2 on Monday night from 9:00pm.
