Singer Olivia Newton-John, who is battling cancer for the third time, has said she is "doing great", dismissing claims that her health had worsened in recent weeks.
The 70-year-old posted a video to Twitter in which she said, "Happy New Year everyone, this is Olivia Newton-John and I just want to say that the rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote."

"And I am doing great and want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 as possible and thank you all for your wonderful love and support for me and for my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia," she continued.
"Thank you so much, Happy New Year."
The speculation about Newton-John's health had earlier been dismissed by her representatives.
The English-born, Australian-raised star set up the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Research Centre in Melbourne after she survived breast cancer in 1992.
