Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has curated a new ballet featuring Stones classics, which is to be choreographed by his ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick

The ballet features the Stones songs You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Paint It Black and She’s a Rainbow.

It is understood to be premiering at the Mariinsky Theatre’s ballet festival in St. Petersburg in Russia in March before a New York grand opening at the at Lincoln Center in April 18.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones will begin the US leg of their No Filter tour, two days later on April 20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.

Jagger was typically mellifluous in a comment about performing live in his 70s, as reported by Page Six. "When you go out in front of all those people, you get an enormous rush of chemicals in your body - your own chemicals, not chemicals you’ve put in."
