Irish author Marian Keyes has rescinded her support for Strictly Come Dancing's Seann Walsh and Katya Jones after they were photographed kissing last week, despite both having romantic partners.
The best-selling novelist had taken to Twitter on Saturday to praise Walsh and Jones' impressive Paso Doble to the Matrix theme, saying she was "AFOR" the pair.
She said the routine was "EFFING AMAZING" and added that professional dancer Jones is a "GREAT choreographer".
I'm AFOR Seannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn and Katya

Katya is such a GREAT choreographer
However, after photographs emerged of the Strictly couple locking lips in London after a night out, Keyes clarified her position.
"Just to clarify, I'm not. I'm powerfully AGIN. Feck them and their foncy Matrix choreography. What use is any a that if they have treachery in their hearts?", she wrote.

Following the critical tweet, Walsh's girlfriend, actress Rebecca Humphries, asked Keyes if she wanted to be friends.

Wanna be friends?

Keyes responded: "Of COURSE. I'm so upset for you, I've been thinking about you all day".

Meanwhile, Katya Jones' husband Nick Jones, who is also a professional dancer on Strictly, has not commented on the kiss.
On Monday (October 8), he posted a picture of himself on Instagram along with the caption: "It’s Monday and if you don’t mind I’m just going to hang out by the rocks with my smouldering look. What’s your plans for the week ahead????"

Walsh and Jones have issued apologies about the kiss.
The comedian's statement read: "In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for."
Jones also tweeted: "I'm so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions. I wasn't thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship."
