Presenter Chris Evans has revealed that he and professional golfer Natasha Shishmanian have decided to call their newborn twins Boo and Walt.

Evans made the announcement on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show on Friday with wife Shishmanian phoning in live on air.

The Press Association reports that Evans told listeners the couple did not have much sleep as they had gone out for a "little bit of wetting the babies' heads" following their births on Wednesday.

"It's a good job we've got guests on after eight o'clock, otherwise I'd just talk about babies all day today," Evans continued.

Chris Evans told listeners: "Mum doing very well, babies are splendid, sparkling. We are beyond blessed"

"I'm sorry, I can't help it. I can only apologise.

"Right now, we're talking about babies. Boo and Walt," Evans enthused, adding that the names were not short for anything.

Evans and Shishmanian married in 2007 and also have two sons, Noah, aged nine; and Eli, aged six.
