Roxanne Pallett has reportedly penned a hand-written apology to Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan Thomas.

During her time in the house, the 35-year-old former Emmerdale star accused Thomas of hurting her by punching her, which many viewers defended as play-fighting. The accusation left Thomas in tears in the Big Brother house.

Thomas had denied punching Pallett, saying "there was no malice or anger in anything I did" and that he had been trying to show affection.

Pallett later apologised for her actions, telling CBB host Emma Willis that she was "crippled with emotion and shame, that I would have put someone in that position".

According to The Sun , a source said Pallett has now decided to use a more 'personal approach' after her two televised apologies with Emma Willis and Jeremy Vine were slammed by viewers as being a 'publicity stunt'.

"Roxanne decided to write Ryan a letter of apology shortly after deciding to leave the house and having been interviewed by Jeremy Vine and Emma Willis.

"She gave the note to a member of show staff to pass on to Ryan once he left the house rather than attempting to give it to him directly.

"Understandably there was a lot of commotion when Ryan excited the house victorious and he hasn’t been able to receive the letter yet."

"He’s aware of it’s existence though and it’s expected that he’ll receive it next week to be able to read it.

"He’s decided not to mention it’s existence publicly as it’s unlikely to make much of a difference considering what he’s already been put through."

"If Roxanne really wanted to apologise personally she could simply get Ryan’s number and talk to him directly. You can’t help but feel that she’s still not facing up to her behaviour by hiding behind a letter.

"Ryan is now looking to the future and keen to put everything behind him."

Thomas was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother  2018,  and fought back tears after his win.

The former Coronation Street star had been widely expected to win the public vote. Former Cheers star Kirstie Alley was the runner-up, with former The Only Way is Essex star Dan Osborne in third place.
