U2 opened the European leg of their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour in Berlin on Friday night, as the band set off on the long road home to their Belfast and Dublin dates in October and November.
The setlist at the city's Mercedes-Benz Arena spanned U2's career, with I Will Follow, Beautiful Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo and One among the favourites performed on the night.
Friday night's show also saw the live debut of Summer of Love, a track from the band's 2017 album, Songs of Experience.
As on the North American leg of the tour, there were no songs from The Joshua Tree - the band's 30th anniversary shows last summer to mark the record's release saw them perform the classic album in full.
U2 play Belfast's SSE Arena on October 27 and 28. They wrap up their European Tour at Dublin's 3Arena on November 5, 6, 9 and 10.
