Robbie Williams is hoping that his judge's role on The X Factor will open up more TV opportunities.
The 44-year-old singer and his wife Ayda Field will both make their debut as judges on the ITV talent show on Saturday, and considers the experience so far as the best he's had in showbiz.
"Selfishly, for me, I’ve had the most fun that I’ve ever had in the entertainment industry," he told This Morning.
"The past four, five weeks, however long it’s been, I’ve seen the next 20 years of my career opening up in front of me.
"Everybody’s auditioning for The X Factor, including me and including my wife, and we really need this. We don’t, but it would be incredible to open a new chapter and have this be the start of it."
"I’m just having a whale of a time", he added. Who knew that I would be a TV personality? I like it though!"
