Celebrity Big Brother has said that reports that Stormy Daniels had asked for more money to take part in the reality show are "completely false".
The American adult film star was expected to be in the line-up of the Channel 5 reality series, but did not enter the house last Thursday evening.
It had been widely reported that Daniels, who rose to fame after suing US President Donald Trump following an alleged affair, had allegedly demanded extra money to appear on the show.
Daniels' pre-recorded interview on ITV's Loose Women aired on Monday, where she spoke about the furore, which she said has left her feeling "pretty stressed and extremely irritated".
She said she was "offered a lot of money" to take part on the show but soon realised she could not "make that long of a commitment because of the ongoing litigation with [Donald] Trump and [former Trump attorney Michael] Cohen" as well as "some issues" to do with her divorce and custody case over her seven-year-old daughter in America.

After there was a development in the custody case, Daniels said she told the producers "that I was uncomfortable spending the night in the house".
"Being a mom comes first and I wanted to be able to talk to her with everything going on," she continued.
The 39-year-old also shot down the "crazy rumour" she had asked for more money for taking part in the show. "Actually, I gave up my entire fee and asked that it be donated to charity," she said.
Daniels claimed that the producers came to her hotel room and said "you're either going to go on, stay in the house, follow the contract to a T or we're deporting you in the morning at 6am".
Channel 5 producers have disputed Daniels' version of events.
They said in a statement that was read on Loose Women: "Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house, as previously agreed.
"Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house.
"Reports that Stormy asked for more money are completely false."
