Coronation Street's Ryan Thomas and Cheers star Kirstie Alley are among the new residents of the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The actors moved in on Thursday night and were joined by footballer Jermaine Pennant, model Chloe Ayling, TV personality Rodrigo Alves, The Only Way is Essex star Dan Osborne, former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli.

The new digs

Ben Jardine from the series Married at First SightEmmerdale star-turned-presenter Roxanne Pallett and TV and stage psychic Sally Morgan are also in the line-up. 

Natalie Nunn from the American reality show Bad Girls Club and former Barings trader Nick Leeson complete the housemates revealed so far, with fans expecting some surprises.

First in the CBB door, Alley asked: "What have I let myself in for?"

"I stay in my pyjamas all day... sometimes by nightfall I doll up and put on some heels," the 67-year-old told host Emma Willis.

When Alley was told she was the President of the CBB house with special powers and privileges, she quipped: "Do you get assassinated for that?"

Thomas was named her Vice President after a public vote.

The show is on 3e and Channel 5 in the weeks ahead.
