"We're going to broadcast the Late Late Show from this magnificent place in London, which I'll tell you about another time," he teased. "But it's there; we've started to book guests already for it."
"The point of it is to say that, while Brexit is very damaging between our two countries economically, we have too much going on between us culturally and socially to let those binds untie," Tubridy continued.

The host said the Late Late was "reaching out in the truest sense of the word" by bring the show to London.
He added that the London special's message would be to say: "Look, don't mind that. Annoying and all as it is, and important and all as it is, the Brexit thing. We still have too much not to be friends and allies and acquaintances and business partners."
