Singer Demi Lovato has cancelled the remainder of her Autumn tour as she continues her recovery from a suspected drug overdose.

In a statement, promoter Live Nation said: "Unfortunately, Demi Lovato has cancelled her upcoming Tell Me You Love Me Tour dates in South America, as she is focussing on her recovery. 

Demi Lovato was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last weekend

"The 6-city tour was scheduled to visit Chile, Argentina, and Brazil starting November 14th."

At the weekend, Lovato took to social media, telling her followers: "I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery.

"The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side. I will keep fighting."

The 25-year-old was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last weekend.
