The Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again soundtrack has topped the Irish album chart for a second week running.

The soundtrack, which features Cher performing Fernando and Meryl Streep giving her take on My Love, My Life, includes 18 ABBA songs and the fans are clearly loving the new takes on the classics.

The cast recording, which features both hits and lesser-known tracks from Abba, was far ahead of its nearest rival on the charts, which is also a soundtrack for the musical The Greatest Showman.

Soundtrack for Hugh Jackman's The Greatest Showman is number two in the Irish album chart

Drake's record Scorpion is in third position, with George Ezra's Staying At Tamara's is in fourth place.

Meanwhile, to prove Mamma Mia! mania has well and truly taken over Ireland, the soundtrack to the original 2008 movie has made it to fifth place in the charts.

The highest new entry this week goes to Northern Irish singer-songwriter Catherine McGrath. The Rostrevor-born country music singer has just released her debut album Talk of The Town which has landed in at number 17.
