George Ezra's song Shotgun has claimed the No. 1 spot on the Irish singles chart for the fourth week in a row, while on the album chart, the new Mamma Mia! soundtrack has made a strong start.

Shotgun is from Ezra's No. 2 hit album Staying at Tamara's and it has held off competition from Drake, whose song In My Feelings goes from No. 9 to No. 2 in the new countdown as the "In My Feelings dance challenge" sweeps the internet.

Ariana Grande

This week’s highest new entry on the singles chart goes to Ariana Grande, whose latest track God Is A Woman debuts at Number 4.

The song is from her forthcoming album Sweetener and follows the chart-topping No Tears Left To Cry, which hit Ireland’s top spot in April, and is the star’s fifth Irish Top 10 single.

Meanwhile, Post Malone’s Better Now rebounds three spots to Number 10, Cheat Codes x Little Mix’s Only You jumps five places to break the Top 20 at 19, and US rapper and renaissance man Childish Gambino is new at Number 21 with Summertime Magic.

Solid as a rock?

US producer Benny Blanco makes his Official Irish Chart debut as a named artist, landing at No. 32 with his Halsey and Khalid collaboration Eastside, and The Carters - aka Beyonce and Jay-Z - zoom nine places to 33 with APES**T.

On the album chart, Drake's Scorpion is No. 1 for a third week, keeping The Greatest Showman (No.2) and George Ezra’s Staying At Tamara’s (No, 3) at bay.

The cast recording for the new Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again film is off to a strong start, debuting at No.6 ahead of the film’s general release, while the first soundtrack, released in 2008, vaults 23 places to No. 20.

British boyband The Vamps rebound to Number 11 with the Day Edition of their Night & Day album (last year’s Night Edition peaked at Number 6), and following his last ever Irish concert at Dublin’s RDS last week, Paul Simon’s Ultimate Collection lifts 14 places to No.12.
