Beyonce and Jay Z appear to have renewed their wedding vows, with the couple showing footage of the ceremony on the opening concert of their On The Run II tour on Wednesday night.

During the power couple's show in Cardiff, Wales the screen behind them on the stage showed video footage of Beyonce and Jay Z dressed in white, looking as though they are exchanging vows.

Fans were quick to note that the footage was not from their original 2008 wedding, as their baby twins Rumi and Sir, along with six-year-old Blue Ivy, were all present.

The tour's theme is 'This Is Real Love' and is a follow on from their first joint On The Run tour in 2014.

Throughout the concert they shared personal videos and home movie footage with the audience, with the wedding vow renewal montage being shown as they performed Forever Young.

Last year Jay Z spoke publicly for the first time about his unfaithfulness to Beyonce, which was alluded to in her 2016 album Lemonade.

He later told CNN that they chose to "fight for our love".

"It's my soul mate, it's the person I love," Jay Z said.

"For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women.

"We were never a celebrity couple, we were a couple that happened to be celebrities. We are real people."
