Not in Ireland this St Patrick’s Day? Don’t worry, here’s how you can still watch the St. Patrick’s Festival Parade live from Dublin - no matter where you are in the world!

Presented by Aidan Power, Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh and Des Cahill, from 12.15pm (Irish time), the St. Patrick's Day parade will weave its way through the heart of the capital city in a flourish of colour and flair and you can watch it all - for free - on the RTÉ Player whether you are at home or abroad.

The St Patrick's Festival Parade is also live on RTÉ One from 12:15pm.

This year sees Dubliner Liam Cunningham, star of Game of Thrones, lead the parade as Grand Marshall with Star Wars superstar Mark Hamill joining in the fun as the Inaugural International Guest Of Honour.

Community groups and pageant companies from all over Ireland will come together to celebrate the parade theme Home Is Where the Heart Is with over 2,000 band members from far and wide deliver dazzling rhythms and uplifting music that will reverberate throughout the capital’s streets.

In addition to the Parade the RTÉ Player has also launched their Best of Ireland collection which features The Rubberbandits, Saoirse Ronan, Nathan Carter and a special look back on Ireland’s legendary TV soap in The Riordans.
