Westmeath fourpiece The Academic have gone straight to No 1 in the Irish charts with their debut album Tales from The Backseat - beating woman of the hour Camila Cabello to the top spot.
Also on this week's chart, the tragic death of Dolores O'Riordan last Monday has seen a surge in sales for The Cranberries, with their Best Of album Stars re-entering the album countdown at No 5, while their second album, No Need to Argue, is at No 16, and their much-loved debut album, Everybody else is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, at No 23.
Dolores' death has also had a huge impact the Irish singles chart, with Linger finishing the week at number 11, Zombie at number 16 and Dreams at number 40.

In the new UK album chart, Stars has performed better than when it was originally released in 2002. Sales and streams of The Cranberries' back catalogue have rocketed by 1,000% in the days since Dolroes' death, according to the Official Charts Company in Britain.
Three of the Limerick band's hits have also re-entered the UK's singles chart, with 1994 hit Zombie at number 45, 1993's Linger at 47 and Dreams, first released in 1992, at 66.
Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello is at No 3 in the Irish album chart with her self-titled solo debut and she also has two songs in the top ten of the Irish singles chart - the immovable Havana and Never Be The Same Again, which leaps 21 places to No 6.
