Marty Morrissey says comments from the Dancing with the Stars judges don't bother him at all because he wants to learn and do his best in the competition.

The RTÉ commentator may be used to giving his verdict during sporting events, but the Clare man says he is fine with the tables turning.

In fact, Morrissey welcomes feedback from Julian Benson, Loraine Barry and Brian Redmond.

Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment, Morrisey, who is partnered with Ksenia Zsikhotska on DWTS, said: "It doesn't bother me at all. To me, this is a whole new world and it's an adventure.

"They're the experts. I'm learning. I'm trying to soak it all in. I'm willing to do it. I'm going to try and do it as good as I can."

"I have to listen to what Brian, Loraine and Darren say and take it on board."
