Robert Downey Jr has extended the olive branch to Hugh Grant after a mutual dislike arose when they filmed Resolution together in 1995.
In a People magazine interview, Paddington 2 actor Grant was discussing the various different stars that he had worked with and said that Avengers actor Downey had hated him on sight.
Grant said: "He hated me. He took one look at me and wanted to kill me."
Downey perhaps issued the tweet after reading the same interview saying:
A lot has happened over two decades! I respect how Mr. Grant has matured as an artist & voice against violations of privacy. Let’s break bread together soon @HackedOffHugh! #burythehatchet2018
