Patrick Bergin, who starred with Julia Roberts in Sleeping With The Enemy and who can currently be seen in EastEnders, is set to release his new single, Crazy in Love and no, sadly it's not a cover of the Beyoncé smash hit.
The song, released on February 9, has a skittish Dixeland vibe and it's the 66-year-old Dublin actor's latest foray into music following work with his band Patrick Bergin and the Spirit Merchants.
He previously had a top 10 hit in Ireland with the song The Knacker in 2003 and has also collaborated with Vlad DeBriansky and appeared on the record of Jacks Last Dollar. He appeared in the video of DJ Steve Mac's song Paddy's Revenge.

Last year he recorded My Angel with singer Eleanor Shanley with all proceeds going to LauraLynn Children's Hospice.
Over the years Bergin has written and recorded a number of songs and says "whilst acting is my job, music is my passion". Crazy in Love is the first in a number of releases from Patrick in 2018. Once he finishes his stint on Albert Square, he says he will be playing shows to promote his music.
Bergin, the brother of one-time Glenroe heartthrob Emmet Bergin, is currently playing the role of silver-tongued villain Aidan Maguire in laugh-a-minute BBC soap EastEnders.
His acting career has also seen him star alongside Uma Thurman in Robin Hood and he also appeared with Harrison Ford in the 1992 thriller Patriot Games. Bergin has also starred in numerous film and TV roles and earlier this year he starred in TV3 soap Red Rock.
