Emma Barton's killer has finally been revealed on Emmerdale after weeks of speculation, and the killer says Emma had the last laugh.
In Thursday night's double-episode of the ITV soap it was unveiled that Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) pushed Emma off the ledge of the aqueduct to her death, after initially trying to convince her not to take her own life.
Actress Robb says that the moment marked a victory for the manipulative Emma Barton, played by Gillian Kearney, following Moira and Emma's feud.

The Moira Dingle star said: "When I'm there, Emma makes that decision straight away that I'm going to be the one that pushes her, when really all I want to do is save her.
"She smiles as she goes down. She got me, she's won. All the pain and the guilt will be on me and that's what she wants to do, so she is calculating right until the very end."
Robb went on to explain that Moira's guilt over the incident is the real reason behind her lack of sleep and trouble caring for her new baby, Isaac.
"Baby blues was part of it but the big part was the guilt. She was shocked by what she had done, her emotions were all over the place", the actress explained.

Moira's estranged husband Cain manages to get a confession out of his former lover, with whom he shares baby Isaac.
Actor Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain, kept schtum on whether or not he thought their shared understanding could lead to a romantic reunion between them in the future.
Hordley said of Cain's understanding of the incident: "Cain is a smart cookie on a street level - good at sussing people out even though he is not very bright.
"He can see the pain Moira has been through and, once she has told him, he can see that it wasn't some calculated move on Moira's part, it was a genuine pushing of buttons and wrong place, wrong time.
"It's what Emma wanted and I think the audience will see that."

While viewers and some Emmerdale characters now know the truth about what really happened to Emma Barton, the police still haven't solved the murder, and Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) is among the main suspects.

Emmerdale continues on at 7pm on Friday on TV3 and UTV.
