An eerily lifelike female robot has been unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show and has flummoxed onlookers due to her incredibly realistic features and movements.

The android is a state-of-the-art AP700 model and was on display at the booth of Detroit: Become Human, a Playstation 4 game being developed.

The game Detroit: Become Human is set to be released in 2018 and revolves around the android Kara who escapes the factory where she was made.

After footage of the robot was posted online, viewers were taken aback by her lifelike features and movements as she waved to the camera and made eye contact with a person filming.
