EastEnders fans have been left reeling by the soap's latest cliffhanger episode, as the Grim Reaper prepares to return to Albert Square.
An action-packed week in Walford has seen fans speculating about the fates of four characters - Steven, Jane, Abi and Johnny - with Thursday's episode on RTÉ One and BBC One cranking up the tension even further.

Viewers had seen the unhinged Steven (Aaron Sidwell) leave Jane (Laurie Brett) to die in a fire he started at Beale's restaurant.
Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) ran in to the restaurant, thinking Steven was inside, and was hit by a falling pipe as the building started to collapse.
Steven subsequently rescued her from the debris and went back into the blaze, thinking fiancée Lauren was inside.
Hesitating about leaving Jane, the injured Steven was then told to get out by the soap's other villain, Max (Jake Wood).

In another part of the Square, Johnny (Ted Reilly) was shot by Ted (Christopher Timothy), who has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and panicked after the gas explosion.
