Stars have been reacting to Conor McGregor's loss against Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas, with Katie Taylor impressed by McGregor's "valiant effort" against the undefeated boxing champion.
The fight, which was McGregor's first ever professional boxing match, saw Mayweather win with a 10th round technical knockout.
Katie Taylor took to Twitter to congratulate Mayweather on his "remarkable legacy in the ring" while acknowledging McGregor's "valiant effort".

Freddie Prinze Jr. likened McGregor's move to boxing to Michael Jordan's baseball career saying, "Michael Jordan couldn't hit a curveball. Tonight's shouldn't be a surprise or a disappointment."
Johnny Knoxville posed that should Mayweather try his hand at MMA, he would not be able to stop The Notorious. "No way Mayweather lasts 30 seconds in an MMA bout," he tweeted.
