Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are to star in and executive produce a new drama series set in the world of morning TV shows.
US entertainment industry website Variety reports that the series is from former HBO drama boss Michael Ellenberg, with a script from House of Cards writer Jay Carson.

The series will be offered to cable channels and streaming services in the coming weeks, according to sources.
The show is Aniston's first TV role since Friends ended in 2004 and reunites her with Witherspoon, who guest-starred in the comedy phenomenon as Jill Green, the younger sister of Aniston's character Rachel. Witherspoon was recently Emmy-nominated for her role on the acclaimed drama series Big Little Lies.
In an interview with Variety earlier this year, Aniston spoke of her desire to return to TV.
"I've thought about it a lot," she said. "That's where the work is. That's where the quality is.
"At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time."
