Jedward have signed up for a new interactive MTV dating show and are inviting applications from people who'd like a date with the hair-raising twins.

Single AF, which will be broadcast in November after an online campaign, follows seven celebrities as they look for love with the help of social media.

Also signed up for the latest in TV's rediscovered passion for dating shows are Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson, Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham, Casey Johnson of boyband Union J, YouTube star Elliot Crawford and RuPaul’s Drag Race cast member Courtney Act.

Jedward, John and Edward Grimes, posted a promo video online on Monday and said they were looking for "cool, spontaneous people" and "someone who accepts us for all that we are, is up for a good time and shows us their personality one hundred percent".

On Monday Variety reported that Single AF "will roll out June 26 through July 11 on MTV’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts. The linear series will follow in November. The series will chronicle two weeks of dating adventures among young celebrities who will then bring their top dates to a castle in Paris to determine if they’ve "met their match."
