Singer Janet Jackson is reportedly in negotiations with Netflix about a 10-part documentary series on her life and times.

Aside from filming the performer at recording sessions in studio, the series will deal with the matter of co-parenting her child with Wissam. It will also cover the elaborate preparations for for the European and Asian legs of her tour.

The singer is estranged from her husband Wissam Al Mana with whom she had a son, Eissa, who was born last January.

Jackson will resume her tour in September, despite commencement of divorce proceedings on Thursday last in London. According to Eonline.com, the divorce hearing took place at London's Royal Courts of Justice where the couple met with Justice Anna Pauffley for a number of hours. Janet was reportedly "in good spirits" when she left, while Al Mana appeared "sombre."

The singer had postponed her Unbreakable World Tour in April 2016 so she could start a family. It has now been renamed State of the World Tour.

Jackson and Al Mana married in 2012. The singer was previously married to James DeBarge and Rene Elizondo Jr.
