The Good Wife's Matt Czuchry and Revenge's Emily VanCamp will co-star in Fox's new medical drama The Resident.
Czuchry played the young and ambitious Cary Agos on The Good Wife, while VanCamp is best known for her roles as Rebecca Harper on Brothers and Sisters, Emily Thorne on Revenge, and Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The Resident will centre on Devon Pravesh (played by Manish Dayal), an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident, Conrad Hawkins, played by Czuchry.
VanCamp will appear as Nic, a nurse who also happens to the on-again-off-again romantic fling of Czuchry's character.
The cast also includes Bruce Greenwood (American Crime Story) and Shaunette Wilson (Billions).
