Pick of the day
The Eurovision Song Contest: Semi Final 2, 8.00pm, RTÉ2
Here we go again, the place where Ireland tends to have its Eurovision hopes buried amongst the also-rans of this hugely popular annual jamboree.
Can Brendan Murray go where the Emerald Isle rarely goes these days and make it through to Saturday's showdown? Well, this is probably the best way to find out, live from Kyiv in the company of the effortlessly effervescent Marty Whelan.
Tonight the 21-year-old Murray performs along with 17 other nationalities, with ten to qualify for the final in two days' time, regularly one of the most-watched TV shows on the planet.

Movie Choice of the day
Central Intelligence, 8.00pm, Sky Cinema Comedy
Even a cat could get a few laughs out of this comedy, as Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart join forces in a buddy movie that defies the clichés and gets on with the serious business of being funny.
In school, Calvin (Hart) was the only one who didn't ridicule the bullied Bob (Johnson), who returns years later for a school reunion. He's now built like The Rock (well, why not?) but is also an on-the-run CIA agent who's being stitched up by some bad guys.
Cue a lot of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than even accountant Calvin can count. It's great fun from start to finish.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Netflix
With season three just over a week away – Friday, May 18th to be precise – now's the time to look back on the first two seasons of this quirky comedy starring Ellie Kemper.
She plays the eponymous Kimmy, who is adjusting to life in New York City after her rescue from a doomsday cult in Indiana where she and three other women were held for 15 years.
The cast is great and includes Carol Kane as street-wise landlady Lillian Kaushtupper, Tituss Burgess as roommate and struggling actor Titus Andromedon, and Jane Krakowski 's insufferable socialite Jacqueline Voorhees.
Kimmy? It's a gimme.
