There are heartbreaking scenes on Fair City on RTÉ One tonight as Farrah receives devastating news.

While arguing with Emmet in the shop about where he can display posters of the missing Katy, pregnant Farrah is taken ill and is rushed to hospital.
Later, Farrah and Ciarán are told that they have lost their baby.
After asking Bob what happened in the shop, Ciarán is adamant that the argument is the cause of Farrah's miscarriage. He sets off to confront Emmet and vows that he will suffer.
Caroline Harvey, who plays Farrah, said it was of the utmost importance for the cast and crew to handle the storyline as sensitively as possible.
"I found filming some of the scenes quite emotional," she admitted.
"I think we all have someone in our lives who has had to go through this painful situation and they were on my mind while filming the scenes."
