It has been officially announced that Domhnall Gleeson will be reprising his role as General Hux in Star Wars: Episode VIII - and principal photography on the movie has begun.
Gleeson's return was announced at the same time as a new production video was posted on YouTube which featured footage of director Rian Johnson and his crew filming on Skellig Michael off the Kerry coast.
Announcing the start of principal photography on Monday, Lucasfilm said: "Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII, which began principal photography at Pinewood Studios in London on February 15, 2016."
