Calvary and The Guard star David Wilmot has joined the cast of the Treasure Island prequel series Black Sails.
The Ripper Street actor will be a series regular in season four as bounty hunter Israel Hands.
Season three of Black Sails premiered on cable network Starz last week. The series is set two decades before the events in Treasure Island with Toby Stephens playing pirate Captain Flint.
Wilmot's other upcoming show is the HBO miniseries Lewis and Clark alongside Casey Affleck and Matthias Schoenaerts.
The miniseries tells the true story of Meriwether Lewis (Affleck) and William Clark's (Schoenaerts) expedition west of the Mississippi River to the Pacific Coast in the early 1800s. Wilmot plays one of the men under the duo's command in the Corps of Discovery.
The miniseries is based on the book Undaunted Courage by Band of Brothers author Stephen E Ambrose.
Wilmot has also reunited with Calvary and The Guard director John Michael McDonagh for his new film, War on Everyone.
The black action-comedy stars Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood), Michael Peña (Fury) and Theo James (Divergent) in the lead roles and tells the story of two corrupt police officers who appear to have picked the wrong person to victimise.
The film will receive its world premiere at next month's Berlin International Film Festival.
