Merseyside barmaid Kiera Weathers left immediately after receiving the least amount of votes in The X factor on Sunday night. Sean Miley Moore subsequently lost in the sing off against Mason Noise.
A reasonably composed Kiera didn't seem too disappointed and appeared to be very content with her performance. "I'm comfortable with the fact that I did me," she declared to rapturous cheers of approval from her fans.
The judges reached a deadlock situation when it came to deciding between Mason Noise and Sean Miley Moore. So it was back to the the public vote and the one who had gained the least votes would have to go. Sean was obliged to depart the stage and his dream of winning. "It's been an incredible journey but the show must go on, " he said.

The judges clearly were at pains to make a decision about the two singers. Rita talked of "two completely different artists" and felt that it was a "horrible position to be in". Simon and Cheryl, likewise, did not want to send either artist home.
Thus Mason Noise went through to next week.
