Taylor Swift has won her first Emmy Award, with the 25-year-old announced among the early recipients of the TV Academy's honours.
Wildest Dreams singer Swift has been announced as the winner of the Original Interactive Program for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, which she both starred in and executive produced.
The project was released along with the music video for her single Blank Space last year and allowed fans to tour the sets used in the video.
Swift wasn't the only singer to be announced as an early winner, however, with her rumoured enemy Katy Perry also the proud recipient of an award. Perry's Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show has earned the Dark Horse singer the Emmy for Outstanding Costumes for a Variety Program or a Special.

The two categories are included in the juried awards section of the 67th Emmy Awards, which honour outstanding work in animation, costumes, motion design and interactive media. The juried awards will be presented during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 12.
There are no nominees for the juried awards, with a panel of professionals responsible for evaluating and voting on the winners. Each category could see one or more winners, and if no work is deemed good enough, there is the option to withhold an award.
